Description

With it’s thick reddish liquor this tea is often referred to as the “Bordeaux or Burgundy of Tea”.  This grade has tightly rolled leaves that promote a deep rich concentrated flavour – some say it can be enhanced with milk.

Keemuns became very popular around the world in the later 1800s, although in recent years tea connoisseurs have taken more to Assams and Ceylon black teas.  For some Imperial Keemun Sacred Garden remains ‘king of the black teas”, it’s reported that the Queen of England counts Imperial Keemun Mao Feng as one of her teas of choice.

Presented in a smart black tea caddy featuring oriental motifs, this make a great gift for the tea adventurer.
